Event & Wedding Flowers

Why choose wood flowers for your wedding or event?

They last FOREVER

Your sola wood flowers will look just as good as they did on your wedding day 5 years (and beyond) from now. See the care instructions in the FAQs.

Allergen-free

Do you (or someone you know) suffer from pollen allergies? Sola wood flowers are a great option for you as there are no fragrances or pollen added.

Summer Wedding?

Fresh flowers notoriously are difficult to work with under high heat conditions. With sola wood flowers you don’t have to worry about wilting.

Sola Flowers are SUSTAINABLE

Sola flowers are harvested from the shola plant (an aquatic plant in Southeast Asia), in a way that's sustainable and renewable. Unlike fresh flowers, the shola plant does not need to to be treated with pesticides or harmful fertilizers.

Flowers are ALWAYS in season

Want sunflowers in a winter wedding? You can have them! Want peonies in the fall? You can have those too! You aren't bound by the flowers found in nature or their growing cycle.

Color options are LIMITLESS

Every single flower is hand-dyed/painted/airbrushed to achieve the color and look you want for your flowers. Want blue peonies? Rainbow roses? The options are endless! (This is also a great reason to go sola wood over silk flowers as well)

Cost-Effective

With the high cost and supply chain issues in the floral industry, most of our arrangements are priced less than live florals, especially with the high cost of fuel to get real flowers from overseas.

What is it like to work with you?

Step 1 – Wedding Questionnaire & Consultation

This looks different for everyone and we can do this in whatever way works for you!

  1. Complete our wedding questionnaire here.  This will give us everything we need to know to put an initial quote together.
  2. If you decide to move forward, we can discuss any questions and your specific design with a more formal consultation via email, text/messenger, Zoom or in person at my home studio in Biddeford, Maine.

Step 2 – Estimate/Deposit

To finalize your order and secure your date, you'll need to pay a 50% deposit on your bridal party flowers. We can always add centerpieces, arch pieces and other accent pieces down the road as you dive further into your planning process.

Step 3 – Order Up!

When I start working on your flowers, I’ll reach out (usually about a month in advance) and confirm any changes and you’ll be consulted at these points:

  1. Test round of painting for colors. You can make any necessary changes to the colors to ensure what you get are the exact colors you want!
  2. Test arrangement. I’ll send a picture of your first arrangement so that you can approve or make any changes to the style.
  3. Final pictures!

Step 4 – Pick Up/Delivery!

Your flowers are typically ready about 1-2 weeks ahead of your event unless otherwise agreed upon a different date.

  • Pick Up at my home studio in Biddeford, Maine
  • Delivery to your location per our agreement (set up is also available)
  • Shipping to you. I ship my arrangements all over the United States with no issues, you do not have to be local to work with me!
